  • WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "FRESH MAKEOVER" VS "TOUCH-UP & STYLE-CHANGE"?
A Fresh Makeover is a complete transformation that includes skincare prep, full-face makeup, and hairstyling, with each session taking approximately 2.5hours. In contrast, a Touch-Up & Style-Change is a quick refresh involving minor adjustments like reapplying lipstick, fixing foundation and restyling hair. Touch-up & Style Change is meant for maintenance so each session lasts between 30-45mins.
  • HOW DO I DECIDE BETWEEN A TOUCH-UP & STYLE CHANGE OR A FRESH MAKEOVER?
If your wedding is a half-day event, with morning ceremony followed by lunch reception, it is recommended to have an additional touch-up & style change. For a full-day event with an evening banquet, a fresh makeover is recommended as your make-up would have oxidized by then.
  • I WOULD BE CHANGING OUTFIT FOR MY SECOND MARCH-IN SESSION, CAN I OPT FOR AN ADDITIONAL TOUCH-UP & STYLE CHANGE?
Yes, of course! If your schedule allows, we recommend a change of hairstyle to match your second outfit. A different hairstyle can refresh the overall look and draw attention to a new outfit, especially when paired with an outfit change. Do note that any additional touch-up & style change should be done within 3 hours from the fresh makeup. Beyond that, it will be considered as a fresh makeover session.
  • I HAVE BOOKED A TOUCH-UP & STYLE CHANGE SESSION IN THE AFTERNOON, WILL MY ARTIST ACCOMPANY ME FOR THE DAY ONCE MY MORNING MAKEOVER IS DONE?
No, your Artist will leave once your morning makeover is completed. However, we are happy to accommodate if you require your Artist to stay on for assistance with touch-ups throughout the day. Please refer to our stand-by/follow-through rates here.
  • WILL YOU BE HELPING ME INTO MY GOWN?
Gown wearing is not part of the makeover service but we would be happy to lend a hand if time permits. Otherwise, please have one of your bridesmaids or family members on standby to assist you into your wedding gown.
  • CAN I GO FOR EYELASH EXTENSIONS FOR MY ACTUAL DAY?
Yes, absolutely! Some of our brides are accustomed to the look of lash extensions, so if you're comfortable with it, feel free to proceed. However, if you require eyelid adjustments (e.g., monolid to double eyelid), please avoid getting lash extensions or remove any existing ones before the makeover, as they may interfere with the adjustment process. Our Artist will not be responsible for any additional time required if the adjustment takes longer than expected.
  • DO YOU PROVIDE HAIR ACCESSORIES/VEIL/HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Yes, our Artists have their personal collection of hair accessories which you can request to view during your trial. A refundable security deposit of $60, paid directly to your Artist is required for any loan of accessories. All loaned accessories must be returned either personally, by courier or registered mail within 14 calendar days from your wedding date, otherwise a late fee of $5/day will be charged. Your deposit will be refunded once we receive our accessories in good condition.
  • SHOULD I BOOK A GROOM'S MAKEOVER?
On such a special day, of course! Groom makeovers are becoming increasingly popular because, just like brides, grooms deserve to look and feel their best on their big day! It’s all about looking camera-ready without looking overly made up!
  • WHAT IS INCLUDED FOR GROOM'S MAKEOVER?
Groom's makeover includes hydrating skin prep, light foundation, concealer, eyebrow grooming, lip colour, and a basic hairstyling.
  • WHAT IS "BRIDAL INCLUSION"?
All confirmed bridal makeover booking comes with the following complimentary service - hydrating skin preparation, eyebrow trimming, eyelid adjustments, false lashes (unlimited), rental of hair accessories, pinning of veil (on actual day if time allows), and a personalised touch-up kit.
  • HOW DO I DECIDE THE NUMBER OF LOOKS FOR MY PRE-WEDDING SHOOT?
The following points may help you decide better: Duration of your shoot Local pre-wedding shoots usually last between 2-3 hours. As there isn't enough time for a style change, we recommend just one look for the shoot. The number of outfits If you're going for 2 or 3 outfits for the shoot with no time constraint, we recommend 2 -3 looks to match your outfits (e.g 1 gown + 1 casual wear (2 looks)/2 gowns + 1 casual wear (3 looks))
  • WOULD YOU BE FOLLOWING US THROUGHOUT THE PRE-WEDDING SHOOT?
If you've booked a package with more than 1 look, we will follow you during your shoot until your final look is done. Thereafter, we will leave from the location. However, we are happy to accommodate if you require us to stay on for assistance with touch-ups. Please refer to our stand-by/follow-through rates here.
  • CAN I GO FOR EYELASH EXTENSIONS FOR MY PRE-WEDDING SHOOT?
Sure!
  • IS A BRIDAL TRIAL NECESSARY?
Our bridal trial is optional, but you are highly encouraged to schedule one with our Artist, especially if you plan to have multiple looks on your wedding day. It allows you to collaborate with our Artist, discuss your preferences, and make any necessary adjustments based on your booking. Most importantly, this session serves as a valuable opportunity to preview your wedding looks.
  • OK GOT IT! SO WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY BRIDAL TRIAL?
Trials are ideally held 3-6 weeks before your wedding day. After confirmation of your booking, your Artist will prompt you to provide a few dates so that they can match them based on their availability.
  • CAN I BOOK A TRIAL BEFORE CONFIRMING THE SERVICE OF YOUR ARTIST?
Yes, absolutely! We see the relationship between a makeup artist and her bride as a blend of trust, communication, and teamwork so we hope you'll feel completely at ease and comfortable with your chosen Artist.
  • CAN I USE MY BRIDAL TRIAL MAKEOVER FOR A PRE-WEDDING SHOOT/ROM/CASUAL SHOOT?
We don't recommend using your bridal trial makeovers for pre-wedding shoot as it is common to try different looks on each side of your face during trial. Furthermore, your hairstyle will be removed at the end of the bridal trial session. They are intended solely for previewing and finalizing your wedding day look.
  • WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE PRIOR TO MY BRIDAL TRIAL?
The night before: - Send your Artist samples of your preferred hair and makeup inspo for her reference. This will help her understand your preference. Please wash and blow dry your hair especially the root area. Avoid using conditioner or any hair products. If you must wash your hair on the day of trial, please repeat the above process. Apply a moisturizing facial mask the night before to keep your skin hydrated. On the day of trial: - Please be on time for your scheduled trial. If you think you are going to be late for >20mins, kindly reschedule your trial to another date & time, subject to Artist's availability. Please come without any makeup. If you need to wear makeup before the session, kindly ensure you bring along your makeup removal and facial cleanser. We encourage you to wear a white dress or blouse for better visualization of your wedding gown. Please wear your contact lenses prior to your trial (if required).
  • DO YOU PROVIDE MOMS/SISTERS/BRIDESMAIDS' MAKEOVERS?
Yes, we do! When booking with your bridal makeover package, you can choose to add on this service for your bridal party. We recommend that they have their makeovers done by one of our Artist (subject to their availability) or you may choose to have your bridal Artist do it after your bridal makeover is completed. All bridal party makeover booking includes 1 makeup and 1 basic hairstyling, hydrating skin preparation, eyebrow trimming, eyelid adjustments (upon request), and complimentary false lashes.
  • HOW MANY ARTISTS SHOULD I ENGAGE FOR MY BRIDAL PARTY?
We usually recommend 1 Artist to 2 bridal party, with a 3-hour timeline (1.5hrs/pax). Based on the size of your bridal party, location, and your schedule, we will recommend accordingly and share all possible charges for an additional Artist if required.
  • MY BRIDAL PARTY DOES NOT REQUIRE FALSE LASHES, IS THERE A DISCOUNT?
All our false lashes are complimentary and included in their standard bridal party inclusion. We seek your kind understanding that there is no price reduction if they choose to do away with the false lashes.
  • DO YOU PROVIDE GOWN WEARING SERVICE FOR BRIDAL PARTY?
Gown wearing is not part of the makeover service but we would be happy to lend a hand if time permits. However, a gentle reminder not to ask the Artist while she is in the midst of providing makeover for another bridal party. This will disrupt her workflow and may in turn, affect the makeover duration.
